Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 38 year old Jefferson Valley, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Class “A” Misdemeanors.
Police report that on May 26, 2019 at approximately 1:00 PM, Sgt. Dillon and P.O. Chaparro responded to Macys for a female shoplifter in custody. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant allegedly stole assorted clothing valued at $239.62 from Macys while in the presence of her 2 year old daughter. She was arrested and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on her own recognizance. The defendant is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 27, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
