K9 "Spar" Locates Heroin, Marijuana During Traffic Stop Investigation

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Mount Kisco woman, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation.
 
According to Police, on June 18, 2018 at approximately 11:30 pm, P.O. Campion was on routine patrol on Route 6 when he observed a vehicle being operated with an obstructed view and a traffic stop was initiated.  An investigation was conducted at the scene by P.O. Campion with the assistance of K9 "Spar," which revealed that the defendant was in possession of a quantity of heroin and marijuana.  The defendant was arrested and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing.
 
At headquarters, the defendant was processed on the above charges and released on $120.00 cash bail.  The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice on July 19, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
