Yorktown Police report the arrest of 34 year-old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
According to police on January 17, 2020 Officer Kaen responded to Lowe’s on a report of a past larceny of a power tool. Officer Kaen began an investigation at the scene. Officer Kaen continued his investigation for several days which resulted in the positive identification of the defendant as the suspect. It is alleged that on January 17, 2020 the defendant removed a power tool valued at $99.00 from a display shelf and passed all points of sale making no attempt to pay for the item and exited the store. On February 5, 2020 Officer Beyrer and Officer Hannigan located the defendant at a Lexington Ave residence. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Following processing on the above charge the defendant was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on February 25, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
