Macy's Employee Charged with Stealing Money from Store

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Peekskill woman, who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
 
On May 7, 2018 at approximately 6: 49 PM Yorktown Police received a call from Macy’s staff reporting an employee being detained for a larceny complaint. P.O. Campion was dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival an investigation revealed the defendant allegedly stole US currency totaling $245.00.  The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for Processing.
 
The defendant was processed on the above charge and was released on her own recognizance. The defendant is due back in Yorktown Court on June 7, 2018 at 06:00 PM
