Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Mahopac man, who is charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation, Fail to Signal a Turn and Less Than Two Headlights, both Traffic Infractions.
According to police, on May 28, 2018 at approximately 02:05 AM, P.O. Battista while on routine patrol on Route 6 observed a vehicle which allegedly failed to signal a turn and had an inoperable headlight. A vehicle and traffic stop was conducted and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly in possession of marijuana. The defendant was arrested and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on June 28, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
