Marijuana Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Mahopac man, who is charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
 
According to police, on July 8th, 2018 at approximately 1:58 PM, P.O. Curtis while on routine patrol on East Main Street observed a vehicle being driven on East Main Street which was allegedly uninspected and unregistered.  A vehicle and traffic stop was conducted and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant, a passenger in the vehicle was allegedly in possession of marijuana.  The defendant was arrested and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. 
 
The defendant was processed on the above charge and released on his own recognizance.  He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 9th, 2018 at 6:00 PM.
