Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 26-year-old man from Mattapan, Massachusetts, on a Felony drug charge and several misdemeanor charges.
According to police on July 10, 2018 at about 4:23 PM, a call was received reporting a person in the roadway of Route 132 asking passing motorists to call 911. Officers were dispatched and met with the defendant, and a resident of Old Yorktown Road. An investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the defendant for an alleged domestic assault. Additional investigation and a K9 search of the defendant’s car led to the discovery of what is alleged to be: Cocaine, Oxycodone and Marihuana-all allegedly possessed by the defendant. Following processing at police headquarters, the defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Town Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia, who issued a temporary order of protection for the victim. The defendant was remanded to the Westchester County Jail, in lieu of $7,500.00 cash bail. Comments are closed.
