Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 54 year-old Watertown, MA, resident who is charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, both are Class A Misdemeanors.
On February 5, 2020, at approximately 1:27 AM, P.O. Premuto was assigned to investigate a violation of a Temporary Order of Protection. The victim reported that on February 5, 2020, the defendant allegedly showed up at her residence violating a duly served Westchester County Family Court Temporary Order of Protection. When she went to call 911, the defendant allegedly took her cell phone from her, preventing her from calling for police assistance. The defendant was located at 2900 Gomer Street and placed under arrest for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. He was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 27, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
