Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 59 year old White Plains man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3RD degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
On May 04, 2018 at approximately 04:40 PM Sgt Rapisarda while on routine patrol on Route 6 observed a vehicle which fit the description of a possible stolen vehicle and asked that Headquarters confirm the plate. After confirming the plate the vehicle was stopped in the CVS parking lot located at 1775 E. Main Street. An investigation on scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly in possession of a vehicle reported stolen out of White Plains, NY and that the defendant was allegedly operating the vehicle with a suspended license. The defendant was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and was released on $500.00 cash bail. He is due back in Yorktown Court on May 17, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
