Yorktown Police report the arrest of 18 year old Pawling, NY resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Refusing to Submit to a Preliminary Breath Test, Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License and Failure to Maintain Lane, all Traffic Infractions.
On October 30, 2017 at approximately 12:05 AM, Officer Kaen was dispatched to the scene of a one vehicle accident into a mailbox and Con Edison gas vent. Upon arrival on scene the operator of the vehicle was identified and an investigation revealed that he allegedly operated the vehicle without a license while failing to maintain his lane subsequently causing an accident. It is further alleged that the defendant refused to submit to a Preliminary Breath Test and was allegedly driving while intoxicated. The defendant was arrested and transported to Hudson Valley Hospital for injuries sustained from the vehicle accident. The defendant was later released from the Hospital and transported to YPD HQ’s for processing. At Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charges and issued traffic tickets. The defendant was released on $250.00 cash bail, to a responsible party and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on November 9, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
