Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Mohegan Lake man, who is charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree, a Class "B" Felony.
On August 18, 2022 at about 2:58 AM, Yorktown Police were notified by Carmel PD about a report of a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Yorktown. PO Murphy was dispatched and conducted an investigation. Following an investigation, it’s alleged that the defendant forcibly stole an iPhone 11 and Apple Watch having a total value of $1,500.00 from the victim and in the course of the commission of the crime it is further alleged that the defendant threatened the victim with a hammer. At 8:51 AM PO Murphy placed the defendant under arrest and transported the defendant to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed at Yorktown Police Headquarters and later arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by Judge Gary Raniolo, who set bail at $25,000 cash, $50,000 secure bond or $75,000 unsecured bond. The defendant was able to post bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on August 23, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
