Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Mohegan Lake, NY resident who is charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and Resisting Arrest, a Class A Misdemeanor.
On August 18, 2019 at approximately 1:58 AM, Yorktown Police received a call reporting a domestic dispute at a Mohegan Lake Residence. PO David and PO Ellsworth were dispatched to investigate. An investigation at the scene was conducted during which the defendant allegedly prevented Officer’s David and Ellsworth from properly investigating the incident by forcibly pushing Officer David. It’s further alleged that the defendant resisted arrest by fighting with Officer’s and not complying with commands to stop resisting. The defendant was ultimately placed under arrest at the scene and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and was released on his own recognizance. He is due in the Yorktown Justice Court on September 17, 2019 at 6:00PM. Comments are closed.
