Mohegan Lake Woman Charged with Criminal Contempt Following Domestic Incident

Yorktown Police report the arrest of 22 year old Mohegan Lake woman, who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
 
On August 23, 2018 at approximately 9:33 PM, a call was received from a resident of Mohegan Lake, NY reporting a domestic incident.  Det. Shanahan and P.O. Caprio were assigned to investigate the complaint.  Following an investigation it’s alleged that the defendant did violate a Westchester Family Court Temporary Order of Protection by scratching the victims face resulting in a minor injury.
 
The defendant was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on September 6, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
