Mohegan Lake Woman Charged with Multiple Drug Charges Following Search Warrant

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 25-year-old female from Mohegan Lake, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (narcotic drug 4 ounces or more), a Class "A" Felony, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (packaging), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (scales) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th , all Class "A" Misdemeanors.
 
On April 16, 2022 at approximately 9:00 pm, Yorktown Police Officers executed a search warrant at a Mohegan Lake residence.  While conducting the search, it is alleged Officers located more than 4 ounces of cocaine, scales, packaging material and multiple Schedule II controlled substances inside of the residence.  On April 19, 2022 at 3:40 pm, the defendant voluntarily surrendered at Yorktown Police Headquarters, where she was arrested on the above charges.
 
The defendant was processed on the above charges, arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and then released on her own recognizance. The defendant is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on May 17, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
