Mount Kisco Man Charged with Marijuana Possession Following Traffic Stop

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 27 year old Mount Kisco man, who is charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Penal Law Violation, and for Illegal Window Tints, a Traffic Infraction.
 
According to police, on September 17, 2018 at approximately 9:13 pm, P.O. Caprio and P.O. David were on routine patrol on Route 202 when they observed a vehicle which had illegally tinted windows.  A vehicle and traffic stop was conducted and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was in possession of a quantity of marijuana.  The defendant was arrested and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. 
 
The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on his own recognizance.  He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on October 18, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
