Yorktown Police report that an 18 year old Nanuet resident, whose name is being withheld due to eligibility for Youthful Offender status, is charged with aggravated Harassment in the 2nd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
According to Police, P.O. Tillistrand was assigned to investigate a report of a past domestic incident that occurred at the Jefferson Valley Mall, 650 Lee Road. On January 24, 2019, between 3:08 PM and 6:44 PM, the male called and threatened the victim 18 times causing her to become fearful for her safety. The male voluntarily responded to the Yorktown Police Department and was placed under arrest on March 11, 2019, at 4:58 PM. He was processed on the above charge and was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia. He was released on his own recognizance and a Temporary Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim. He is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on March 19, 2019, at 6:00 PM.
