Narcotics Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 47 year old New Fairfield man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A Misdemeanor.
 
On May 23, 2018 at approximately 07:31 PM Officers were dispatched to investigate two parties allegedly arguing in a vehicle.  Upon arrival the vehicle was located and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly in possession of a quantity of Suboxone.  The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.
 
At Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charge and released on $300.00 cash bail.  He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 26, 2018 at 6:00 PM for arraignment.
