Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 50 year-old Norwalk, CT resident who is charged with Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree, a class “E” Felony and Assault in the 3rd degree, a class “A” Misdemeanor.
On 03/10/2020 at approximately 8:33 AM, Officers responded to a residence in Yorktown to investigate a report of a domestic dispute between contractors working inside the home. Police conducted an investigation and it is alleged that the suspect grabbed the victim and punched the victim in the face causing pain and a physical injury. It is also alleged that during the domestic dispute that the defendant took one phone from the victim and threw it causing damage. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia. The defendant was issued a temporary order of protection, protecting the victim and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on March 17, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
