Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 24 year old Ossining male who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Drivers View Obstructed, a Traffic Infraction, and No/Insufficient Tail Lamps, a Traffic Infraction.
According to Police, on March 14, 2019, at approximately 10:32 PM, P.O. Curtis was on patrol on Spring Valley Road when he observed a vehicle being operated with one brake light out and an obstructed view. A traffic stop was initiated. An investigation at the scene by P.O. Curtis and P.O. Beyrer, with the assistance of K9 Dallas, revealed that the male was in possession of Cocaine. The male was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Headquarters the male was processed on the above charges and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice on April 16, 2019, at 6pm. Comments are closed.
