Ossining & White Plains Residents Arrested at Macy's, Charged with Petit Larceny

​Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 32 year old White Plains resident and a 23 year old Ossining, NY resident who are both charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
 
Police report that, on May 29, 2019 at approximately 3:50 PM they received a report of two shoplifters fleeing the scene from Macy’s in a vehicle.  Yorktown Officers located the vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway and initiated a traffic stop. An investigation was conducted and it is alleged that the defendants did leave Macy’s without paying for merchandise valued at $381.92. The defendants were arrested for Petit Larceny and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing.
 
The defendants were processed on the above charge, issued appearance tickets, and released on their own recognizance. The defendants are due to appear before the Yorktown Justice Court on July 7, 2019 at 06:00 PM.
