Yorktown Police report the arrest a 53 year-old Peekskill, NY resident who is charged with 1 count of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On 12/19/2019 the Yorktown Police Department received a report of a violation of a Temporary Order of Protection. P.O. Gregorio and Det. Shanahan were assigned to investigate. The investigation alleges the defendant engaged in a course of conduct between 12/02/2019 and 12/19/2019 which violated a duly served Putnam County Family Court Temporary Order of Protection by texting the protected person as well as responding to and entering a store the protected person was at. The defendant was contacted by Officer Gregorio and agreed to surrender himself to the Yorktown Police Department. On 12/26/2019 at approximately 04:25 PM the defendant arrived at Police Headquarters and was charged. Following arrest processing, the defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Raniolo. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on 01/16/20 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
