Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 35 year old Peekskill man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation and Unlicensed Driver, Expired Registration, Unlawful Tinted Windows and Open Container of an Alcoholic Beverage Within a Motor Vehicle, all Traffic Infractions.
According to Police, P.O. Caprio was on routine patrol on Crompond Rd when he observed a vehicle being operated with unlawful tinted windows and a traffic stop was initiated. An investigation was conducted at the scene by P.O. Caprio and P.O. Campion, along with the assistance of K9 Spar, which revealed that the defendant was in possession of a quantity of Cocaine and Marijuana. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Headquarters, the defendant was processed on the above charges and released on $250.00 cash bail. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice on August 16, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
