Yorktown Police report the arrest of a sixty-nine year old Peekskill man, who is charged with one count of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On April 2, 2022 at about 11:13 am, Yorktown Police responded to a Shrub Oak residence on the report of a domestic incident. Subsequent to the officers’ investigation at the scene, it is alleged that the defendant violated a duly-served Westchester Family Court Temporary Order of Protection by sending text messages to the victim. On April 7, 2022 at about 3:00 PM the defendant voluntarily surrendered to the Yorktown Police Department in reference to the above charge. The defendant was processed on the above charge and then arraigned by the Honorable Aviah Cohen-Pierson, who released the defendant on his own recognizance. The defendant is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on April 28, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
