Peekskill Man Charged With Stealing Over $3,000 in Cash

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 51 year old Peekskill, NY, resident who is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.
 
According to police, on October 14, 2020, at approximately 3:59 PM, Yorktown Police received a report of a larceny that occurred earlier in the day.  Officer Pagliuca responded to the call and was assigned to investigate the complaint. An investigation was conducted at the scene and it was determined that the defendant allegedly stole more than $3,000.00 from the victim.  A short time later Officer Pagliuca was able to locate the defendant and placed him under arrest.  He was transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
 
After processing, the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo on the above charge and released on his own recognizance.  The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on October 15, 2020, at 6:00 PM.
