Pizza Thief Arrested at Turco's

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 46 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
 
On June 26, 2018 at about 7:09 pm, PO Doherty responded to Turco’s for a report of a larceny.  It is alleged that the defendant stole a pizza from Turco’s and exited the store without paying for the food.  PO Doherty conducted an investigation and the defendant was located in the area and placed under arrest at the request of the store manager.
 
The defendant was transported to the Yorktown Police Department where he was processed on the above charge. The defendant was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance.  The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on July 26th, 2018 at 6:00 pm to answer the charge.
