Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Poughkeepsie NY resident who is charged with 3 counts of Burglary in the 2nd degree, Class C Felonies and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7TH degree, a class A Misdemeanor.
According to Police, on April 28, 2019 at about 09:01 AM, a call was received from a resident of Beaver Ridge Apartments regarding a suspicious incident. Upon arrival P.O. Mullen met with the victim and the investigation on scene revealed that prescription pills were stolen from his apartment. Further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly entered the residence of the victim on three separate occasions with the intent to steal prescription medications. The defendant was located on 04/29/19, arrested, and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Police Headquarters it was discovered that the defendant was allegedly in possession of a quantity of Oxycodone pills. The defendant was processed on the above charges and arraigned by the Honorable Judge Raniolo. Bail was set at $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 bond which the defendant was unable to post bail. He was remanded to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on May 02, 2019 at 06:00 PM. Comments are closed.
