Poughkeepsie Man Arrested on Outstanding Bench Warrant

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 27 year old Poughkeepsie man, on a Bench Warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for Failure to Appear in connection with the charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree.
 
On August 9th, 2018 at 06:00 pm, it is alleged that the defendant missed a scheduled court appearance in Yorktown Court and a Bench Warrant was issued.  On August 16th, 2018 at approximately 6:30 pm, the defendant responded to Police Headquarters and was arrested on the warrant. 
 
The defendant was processed and arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo. The defendant was remanded to the Westchester County Jail.  He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on August 21st, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
