Putnam Valley Man Charged with Possession of Suboxone

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a a 28 year old year old Putnam Valley man who is charged with Criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
 
On May 3, 2018 at approximately 3:25 PM, PO Guilbert was dispatched to Jefferson Valley Lanes on a check on the welfare of a subject who appeared disoriented.  Upon arrival on scene PO Guilbert located the defendant on Route 6 at Hill Blvd. Further investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly in possession of Suboxone, a controlled substance. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported back to Yorktown Police headquarters for processing. 
 
The defendant was processed on the above charge and then released on $100.00 cash bail to a family member. The defendant is scheduled to answer said charge in the Yorktown Justice Court on June 5, 2018 at 6:00 PM.
