Yorktown Police Department Chief of Police Robert Noble advises motorists that on Saturday October 29, 2022 between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm the Yorktown Lions Club will be sponsoring a Halloween Costume Parade.
To provide for safety of parade participants and spectators the following roadways will be closed temporarily to accommodate this event: 1. Commerce Street @ Downing Drive 2. Hanover Street @ Commerce Street 3. Commerce Street between Veterans Rd and Downing Drive 4. Veterans Road between Commerce Street and Maple Hill Street. Veterans Road may remain closed beyond 3:00 pm between Commerce St. and Maple Hill Street. Yorktown Police will accommodate motorists who need to access the Albert A. Capellini Community Cultural Center for early election voting. Comments are closed.
