Yorktown Police report the arrest of a nineteen year old Mohegan Lake man, who is charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
On November 18, 2018 at about 11:18 am, Officer David was on routine patrol of the Mohegan Park Jewish Center on Decatur Rd. While checking the Jewish Center, Officer David observed a suspicious occupied vehicle parked at the end of Decatur Rd. After conducting an investigation of the vehicle, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of a quantity of marijuana. A check of the defendant's driver’s license also revealed that his driving privilege was suspended in New York State for failing to answer a summons. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters. The defendant was subsequently processed on the above charges and released on $100 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on December 13, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
