Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old woman from Putnam Valley and a 39 year old woman from Peekskill, who are both charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree, both a Class "A" Misdemeanors. The 30 year old woman from Putnam Valley was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of an Anti-Security Device, a Class "B" Misdemeanor.
On March 9, 2020 at about 12:06 pm, Yorktown Police were called to Macy's in the Jefferson Valley Mall for a report of a larceny that had just occurred. The responding officers quickly located the two suspects in a vehicle and conducted an investigation. That investigation revealed that the two defendants, while aiding abetting and acting in concert, stole assorted merchandise from Macy’s having a total of $242.50. The defendants were arrested at the scene and additionally charged with possession of stolen property and possession of an anti-security item. The defendants were transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for arrest processing. The defendants were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on March 26, 2020 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
