Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 39 year old male from South Carolina. He is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Fail to Stop for a Steady Red Light, a violation.
On March 5, 2019, at approximately 10:15 PM, P.O. Hannigan observed a vehicle fail to stop for a steady red light on Crompond Road and a traffic stop was conducted. After an investigation, it was determined that the males driving privileges were suspended for failing to answer multiple summonses. He was also in possession of Oxycodone. He was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. He was processed on the above charges and released on $100.00 cash bail. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice on April 4, 2019, at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
