On March 30, 2024 at 10:20 PM, Yorktown Police responded to the area of Route 35 for a report of a vehicle being operated erratically. It was reported that the vehicle was swerving in the roadway and entered the opposing lane of traffic on several occasions. A vehicle description was provided and Officers canvassed the area. While canvassing, PO DiNotte observed a vehicle which matched the provided description on Route 118. PO DiNotte observed the vehicle cross the double yellow lines into the opposing lane of travel on at least two occasions and he initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle.
