Suspended Registration Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Shrub Oak woman, who is charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
 
On August 10, 2018 at about 8:50 am, while assigned to investigate a property damage motor vehicle accident on Route 6 in Jefferson Valley, it was determined one of the vehicle's registrations was suspended for insurance lapse.  The defendant's vehicle was impounded at the scene and she was released on her own recognizance after being issued a ticket.
 
The defendant is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on September 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm to answer the charge.
