Yorktown Police report the arrest of a fourteen year old male from Mohegan Lake, New York, a fourteen year old male from Cortlandt Manor, New York and a fourteen year old female from Mohegan Lake, New York, who are all charged with Juvenile Delinquency, the underlying charge if committed by an adult being Making Graffiti, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On the morning of July 27, 2018, Yorktown Police were called to the Ivy Knoll Park for a graffiti complaint. Upon arrival, the responding officers found that the park had been vandalized with graffiti during the overnight hours. Officers from both the Patrol Division and the Detective Division began an investigation into the graffiti, which culminated with the arrest of three local juveniles, two males and one female, all 14 years old. The juveniles were arrested at their residences’ between July 31st and August 6th. All three juveniles were issued appearance tickets in the presence of their parents. They are each directed to appear at the Westchester County Department of Probation on August 15th, 13th and 7th, respectively. Comments are closed.
