Traffic Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Putnam Valley NY resident who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree, an unclassified misdemeanor and Obstruction of View, a Traffic Violation.
 
On October 02, 2017 at about 09:13 PM, P.O. D. Curtis was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle that allegedly had an obstructed view and a vehicle and traffic stop was initiated.  The operator was identified by her NYS drivers license and a computer check revealed that the defendant was allegedly operating the vehicle while her privilege to drive in the State of New York was suspended for failing to answer summons.  The defendant was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
 
The defendant was processed on the above charges and was released on $200.00 bail.  She is due back in Yorktown Court on November 02, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
