Yorktown Police report the arrest of twenty-one year old Bronx man, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, and Fail to Yield, a Traffic Infraction.
On May 3, 2018 at about 7:38 am, Officer Woodard was on routine patrol on Crompond Rd. (Route 202) when he observed a vehicle allegedly fail to yield to on-coming traffic at the intersection of Crompond Rd. and Saw Mill River Rd. Officer Woodard conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. A routine inquiry of the driver’s license revealed that his operating privileges were allegedly suspended. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on $250 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on June 5, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
