Traffic Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 43 year old Mahopac man, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor and having an Inoperable Headlight, a traffic infraction.
 
Police report that on July 30, 2018 at about 01:48 AM P.O. Battista while on routine patrol on Route 6 observed the defendant operating a motor vehicle that allegedly had one broken headlight.  A traffic stop was initiated and a computer check showed the defendant’s license was allegedly suspended for failure to pay NYS drivers assessment fee.
 
The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing.  He was later released on his own recognizance to appear on August 28, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
