Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 34 year-old Peekskill, NY resident who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, and Operating a Vehicle Without an Interlock Device Installed, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, as well as, No Head Lights in Inclement Weather, No/Insufficient Tail Lights, and Unlicensed Operator, all Traffic Infractions.
According to police on February 11, 2020 at approximately 4:43 PM Officer Hannigan was patrolling Southbound on the Taconic State Parkway when he observed a vehicle operating in inclement weather that allegedly had both a defective head light and a defective tail light. Officer Hannigan conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and identified the defendant as the operator. A DMV check of the defendant showed that he was allegedly unlicensed and his privilege to operate a vehicle was allegedly revoked. It is further alleged that the defendant was operating a vehicle without an interlock device installed. The defendant was then placed under arrest. Following processing at the scene, the defendant was issued traffic tickets for the above charges and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on February 27, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
