Traffic Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Ossining man, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor
 
According to police on August 26, 2018, at approximately 11:54 pm, Officer Curtis was on patrol in the area of Spring Valley Road, when he observed a vehicle that had an obstructed view. A traffic stop was initiated and the operator was identified.  A computer check at the scene revealed that the defendant's driving privilege in New York was suspended on multiple dates for failure to pay fines and failure to answer a summons.
 
The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters.  The defendant was processed on the above charges and then released on $100.00 bail.  The defendant is scheduled to answer said charges in the Yorktown Justice Court on September 27, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
