Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 56 year old Ossining man, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree, an unclassified misdemeanor, Unregistered vehicle, Uninsured Vehicle, Expired Inspection, Inadequate brake lights, all traffic infractions.
On July 2, 2018 at about 04:50 PM, P.O. M. Caprio was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle that was allegedly equipped with inadequate brake lights and a traffic stop was initiated. The operator was identified by his Identification Card and a computer check revealed that the defendant was allegedly operating the vehicle while his privilege to drive in the State of New York was suspended for failing to pay child support. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was allegedly not registered or insured, and had an expired inspection sticker. The defendant was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and was released on his own recognizance. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on August 2, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
