Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 44 year-old Yorktown, NY male who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Operating a Motor Vehicle without an Ignition Interlock Device, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, and Speed In Zone, a Traffic Infraction.
On January 8, 2020 at about 2:19 pm, Officer David was on routine patrol on Route 6 in the area of Mill St. when he observed a vehicle traveling eastbound. It is alleged that the vehicle’s New York State Safety Inspection was expired. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Louis Russo. A routine driver’s license inquiry allegedly revealed the defendant’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle was revoked. It is also alleged that Russo was operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device. The defendant was issued three UTTs at the scene and released with a licensed driver. He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on January 28, 2020 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
