Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 22 year old Valhalla, NY resident who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Fail to keep right, a Traffic Infraction.
According to Police, on May 27, 2019 at approximately 9:40 PM, P.O. Hannigan was on routine patrol on Route 6 when he observed a vehicle allegedly fail to keep right and a traffic stop was initiated. An investigation was conducted at the scene by P.O. Hannigan, PO Campion and K9 Spar and it is alleged that the defendant was driving while his privilege to do so was suspended for failing to answer a summons and had an active Bench Warrant from Ossining PD for missing a scheduled court appearance. The defendant was also allegedly in possession of a quantity of Marijuana and cannabis oil. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charges and released to Ossining PD on $125.00 cash bail. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice on June 27, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
