Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 25 year old Cortlandt Manor man who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Inadequate Tail Lamp and Unlicensed Operator, both Traffic Infractions.
According to police, on May 17, 2018 at approximately 3:09 AM Officer Guilbert was on patrol on Underhill Avenue when she observed a vehicle that allegedly had no tail lamp illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and the operator was identified. A computer check at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly unlicensed and his driving privilege in New York was suspended for failure to answer a summons in the Town of Halfmoon. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters. The defendant was processed on the above charges and then released on $100.00 cash bail. The defendant is scheduled to answer said charges in the Yorktown Justice Court on June 21, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
