Underhill Avenue Traffic Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 28 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Speed in Zone and Unlicensed Driver, both Traffic Infractions.
 
According to police on August 9, 2018, at approximately 6:20 am, Officer Gregorio was on patrol on Underhill Avenue when he observed a gray Hyundai that was allegedly traveling above the posted speed limit.  A traffic stop was initiated and a computer check at the scene revealed that the defendants driving privilege in New York was allegedly suspended and he was unlicensed.
 
The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters.  The defendant was processed on the above charges and then released on $100.00 cash bail.  The defendant is scheduled to answer said charges in the Yorktown Justice Court on September 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
