Valhalla Woman Arrested for Order of Protection Violation

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Valhalla woman, who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
 
On August 7, 2018 at approximately 9:11 pm, Yorktown Police responded to a call of two people arguing in a vehicle in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot on Crompond Rd.  Upon arrival, the vehicle was located and an investigation revealed that the female passenger was in violation of a Town of Mount Pleasant Town Court Temporary Order of Protection by being in the presence of the male driver of the vehicle.  The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.
 
The defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail, which she could not post.  The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on August 9, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
