Yorktown Police report the arrest of a thirty one year old Verplanck man, who is charged with the two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, both Class “A” Misdemeanors.
On August 10, 2018 at about 5:49 pm, Yorktown Police Officers were called to the 202 Gas Mart on a report of a male attempting to sell drugs to customers. As officers were arriving on scene, the same subject allegedly trying to sell drugs exited the restroom and fell unconscious. Officers arrived and gave assistance to the man. Yorktown paramedics arrived along with Lake Mohegan Fire Department and Mohegan Volunteer Ambulance Corp personnel, who transported the man to Hudson Valley Hospital. After being treated and released at the hospital, the defendant was arrested and charged with possession of various narcotics. The defendant was released on $100.00 cash bail to a responsible person. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on September 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
