Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 40 year old Wappingers Falls, NY resident who is charged with Aggravated Criminal Contempt, a class “D” Felony and Assault in the 3rd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor
On April 20, 2019 at about 1:42 PM, PO Mullen responded to Yorktown Police Headquarters to investigate an Order of Protection violation. Investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly responded to the victim’s residence on April 20, 2019 at approximately 0100 hours, banged on the door, then walked to the bedroom window and allegedly assaulted the victim by attempting to pull her through the window causing injury. It’s further alleged that the defendant violated a Town of Yorktown Town Court Stay away Temporary Order of Protection by being in the presence of the protected party. P.O. Mullen conducted an investigation and was able to contact the defendant. On April 25, 2019 at approximately 4:30 PM the defendant responded to The Yorktown Police Department and was subsequently arrested for Assault in the 3rd degree and Aggravated Criminal Contempt. The defendant was processed at the Yorktown Police Department and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Raniolo. An Order of Protection was also issued by the Honorable Judge Raniolo protecting the victim and the defendant was released on her own recognizance. The defendant is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on May 16, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
