Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 24 year old Cortlandt Manor, NY, resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated Per Se with No Prior Convictions, which are both Unclassified Misdemeanors, as well as Driving Left of Pavement Markings, a Traffic Infraction.
On December 15, 2020, at approximately 1:00 AM, P.O. Vuoso was on routine patrol on Crompond Road in the area of Garden Lane when he observed a vehicle allegedly driving West bound in the East bound lane of Crompond Road. P.O. Vuoso got behind the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop just as the vehicle crossed in to the Town of Cortlandt. He identified the operator as the defendant. After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Upon further investigation at Yorktown Police Headquarters, the defendant was charged with allegedly having a B.A.C. over .18%. Following processing on the above charges, the defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance to a responsible party. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on January 5, 2021, at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
