Yorktown Police report the arrest of 55 year old Yonkers, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Police report that, on May 24, 2019 at approximately 6:20 PM they received a report of a shoplifter fleeing the scene from Macy’s. Officer David responded and was able to locate the defendant a short distance away. The defendant was identified by Macy’s Loss Prevention and an investigation was completed. It is alleged that the defendant did leave Macy’s without paying for merchandise valued at $332.96. The defendant was arrested for Petit Larceny and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and arraigned by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who set $1,000.00 cash bail. The defendant was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Westchester County Jail. He is due to appear before the Yorktown Justice Court on May 28, 2019 at 06:00 PM. Comments are closed.
